OUR STORIES: Each of us grew up in small towns in Buchanan County, Iowa. After raising families, retiring from our careers and uncovering hometown and family stories, we each wrote books of historical fiction. In 2017 our paths crossed and we became friends (through the Iowa Forgotten Historical Society Facebook page). We decided to share our writing and publishing journeys, love of history – and neglected TRUE Iowa stories.
